we got through the audition!!!

ha???

it seems that the people who took care of the audition lost my contact number, so they can't contact us....

out of curiousity, just now i called them, and asked what band got through the audition...

she (the person i called) named Ikeh (weird name huh, well, it's actually not her real name) asked: hello? who is it?

i answered: it's ivan

she: ivan from ITB?? (ITB is am name of a university in bandung, and a BIG one)

i: nope. it's ivan from sanjuu seven.

she: oh, sanjuu seven, cherry blossom right?? (cherry blossom was the former name of our band, whose life is just 2 days old...)

and then she said the magic words: you passed!! sorry that i cannot contact you... blah blah blah....

at that time i was flying... well, maybe not, but at least my mind was... ^^

and then i gave her my number, mentioning not to lose it again...

by the way, we PASSED!!!

it will be our FIRST time performing in front of an audience...

a little worried, but right now i am super-mega-nyappy!!

Audition Day!!! 三十 SeveN's firsT audiTioN!!!

today was a big day~~

me and my band did an audition to determine whether we can play in the JFR or not. JFR is actually Japanese Festival Revolution.

i woke up at about 8.30 am and went out of home at about 9.30 am. then i went to Mimi's Salon because my mom want to go there. and then i went to RA studio, tha place where the audition was held. i was supposed to re-register my band at 10 am.

i got there after awhile, because of the difficulty of finding the place.. >_<

but at last i got there, and i re-regis my band, also changed the name of my band... it was "Cherry Blossom" but we decided to change it to "三十 SeveN"... it was actually juan's idea. how to read it? it is read "sanjyuu seven"...

where the hell did juan get the idea? well, sanjyuu seven is actually an abbreviation of shandy, juan, stefan, and ivan... those are our names...

we played L'Arc~en~ciel's song LINK in this audition... hopefully we will get accepted...

some of the other bands who got into this audition are: belle de art, shanaro, la lumiere, fleur de lis, and hanabi... i forgot the rest...

there were about 30 bands!! i really hope we can get through!!

NoGoD, amaZinG!!

this is a relatively new visual kei band from japan. i found it when i was surfing on youtube... give a warm welcome for 新興宗教楽団NoGoD!!! how to read it?? Shinkou Shuukyou Gakudan NoGoD... or NoGoD for short... the members are:

• Vocal : Danchou
• Guitar : Kyrie
• Bass : Karin
• Drums : K
• Guitar : Shinno

kyrie is one awesome player!! fast picking, cool sweeps, awesome tapping, name it all!!

danchou's voice is very high, he can sing those high-pitched songs rather easily.

this band is totally AWESOME!!! they play rather hard rock music which is very, very good!! the songs that i have heard are: Saikou no Sekai, Atria, and Guren.

on 9 July, me and my friends went to istana bunga villa to gather together after a long time. well, after the parting party last year, we have gone our separate ways, going to different universities, some abroad, some not. this is the perfect opportunity to gather together again as some of those who went abroad have come home, cuz now are holidays.

there were me, omara, btit, epin, apid, and alke who all studied in Parahyangan University, giri, mamoth, sasa, cung-cung, who all studied in ITB, della, who studied in Lasalle, SG, piet and justin who both studied in Melbourne, Aussie, and bobby, who studied in China.

it was fun, watching movie together, playing cards, taking a walk, and talking and chatting with all of them.

but the only thing i don't like about this party is that i got very little sleep >_< style="font-weight: bold;">December we will do this again!!

what the Heck is this perSon Thinking About?!

yesterday was no doubt one of my darker day...

i woke up at about 8 am only to find that i have to change my schedule, the band member meeting which was supposed to be at 5 pm, has to be changed into 2 pm because my drummer had another appointment which was urgent...

i had to call the vocalist-to-be to tell him that the schedule had been changed... well, this person is SO DIFFICULT to call, it made me sick..

at last i attempted to reach him by phone, telling him the news...

i went out of my moe at about 12 pm, cuz my bro wanted to go with his friends and my mom wanted to go to a mall, so i accompanied her. we went for a walk there in the mall, BSM, for a while, then my mom met her friend and off they go, i went for a walk alone.

a moment later when i was playing a game in a gamestore, this person whose name is andi called me again, saying that he couldn't be there at 2, and asked me to change the sched again to 3 pm... okay.... i called everyone else then, telling them the news...

a moment later when i was enjoying my cup of tea at J.Co, juan called me, and he said that he couldn't come to the meeting because of some reason, and said that he was really very sorry. alright then, cuz he seems to be really sorry, i said that it was okay.

oh, i met one of my old friend here, his name is kevin, we were best friends when we were in elementary school... heheheh...

and then THAT person called me again, again asking to POSTPONE the meeting. what the heck?! and then i told him that i was getting a little angry at him, he asked me to meet him at an "abandoned" mall called PiZ. i went there, and holy shit, this person was a really, really not the handsome type. ugly... yuck... definitely not suited to be a vocalist... not to mention he was only as tall as my neck!!

he told me that he was one of the officials for the JFR event, and they wanted to add a pre-evvent there... blah blah blah... and so he and other bunch of people, went away. oh, he asked me to wait there. hell no!! it is already 3 pm, and i have to be at the supposed meeting. so i told him that i will be leaving soon. he asked me to wait at the supposed place while he finished his job. he asked for another hour... fine...

and at last i got at the place at 3.30 pm. my friend was already there. we discussed a little, and this f**cking person didn't showed up at all!!! we waited untul 5 pm... 5 PM!!! and at last we walked away from that place, officially refused that s**t from being our vocalist...

so what the heck was that person thinking about?! he was the one wanted to become our voc, and he made us all mad...

aaarrrgghh...

Jakarta TriP!!!

yeah!!! i just came back from my trip to jakarta!!! i'll post about my trip right away... here we go!!!

i went to jakarta with my mother, my younger sister, and my younger brother.

we went to jakarta from our city, bandung, at about 9 am, and got there at about 11 am. as soon as we got there, we went to one of the malls in jakarta, the plaza senayan, to see the hello kitty thing.

well, i was obviously dissapointed. i thought the hello kitty thing will be a big hello kitty festival, but it turned out to be just a square where they sell hello kitty clothes, and there's a stage where we could take our photos with the "hello kitty"... well, we saw the notice saying that the "hello kitty" will be there at 1.05 pm, which is 2 hours away. so we decided to go to the other mall just across the road, the bigger and newer version of plaza senayan, the senayan city.

well, we did some window shopping and actual shopping, and ate at a restaurant there, the betawi cafe. and there an ice-cream booth there, the cream fudge. mmmmmm, it was like a heaven on earth!! hahahahah... well, we went back to plaza senayan at about 1.30 pm.

nothing special there, there just a buch of little kids wanting to take their pictures with the "hello kitty". aaargh, i'm bored. as soon as i finish my BIG ice cream, we got out of there.

next destination, pantai indah kapuk's waterboom!!

we got there at about 3 pm, and we queued to buy the ticket. god, there, was a LOT of people, and i really mean it. a LOTSA of people there... after waiting for my mom and brother to buy the ticket, we went inside. well, i'm not too curious, cuz i've been to bali's waterboom, and it's much more interesting there. well, this one has it's own interesting slides, afterall. oh yeah, the waterboom's name, both bali's and jakarta's, are waterbom. simple, isn't it?

after playing for a while, we finished at about 7 pm, and we went to senayan city again, this time we ate at Pho 2000, a viet restaurant. after that, we went to some walking around again, and about 10 pm we went to our hotel.

we stayed at sheraton media hotel. it was a good hotel. we stayed at the same room... whew, i couldn't sleep well at all!!! aaaaa....

the next day, i woke up at 6.30 am, cuz i couldn't sleep well... i took a bath and a shower, brushed my teeth, etc etc...

well, at about 10 am we went to WTC mangga dua to see a japanese festival!! yahoo!!

man, what a dissappointment!!! again!! the band competition was already over when we got there, it was actually held yesterday, and the cosplay will be held tomorrow!! aaaaarrrghh... so i just bought some CDs and after a while walking around, we went to another famous mall in jakarta, the mal taman anggrek, or MTA. it was about 12 pm there.

well well well... there was also a festival at mta!! i didn't know about this, this is a gaming festival. those games are from a company named Lyto, who wanted to promote their newest game, the idol-street. that's why the festival also named the idol-street festival 2008.



photos... the band performing there was the nox, they played their own song. it was an indonesian band singing indonesian songs... don't really like them...





there i took a walk around with my bro, my sis went to try the idol-street game, and my mom went somewhere. after a while, we went to a resto called the little penang, and ate there. we went for a walk around again and at about 5 pm, we went back to the WTC cuz i wanted to see some guest band performances.

we got there at 6.30 pm cuz of the heavy traffic jam. and there was a band called the endless rose performing. it seems that i have seen this band at ciwalk bandung... i don't like them when they performed at ciwalk... well, the next band is toshi ishitani's band. consisting of several old cracks, they played very well!! the most shocking one is when they played the song "benci bilang cinta" and when they played the song "kucing garong", a dangdut song... well, they are japanese people!! so it was very shocking... they are very attractive (almost embarassing ^^), more attractive than all other bands, although those other bands consisted of young people.

the next band is junon. i don't know what song did they play, they played about 4 songs, the only one i know is the last one they played, reila by the gazette.





the last band was private joker!! this band is awesome!! the lead guitarist, the long haired one, played the guitar as if it was his own body... very skillful play!!! now i know why this band was put on the last performance today!

though this band will not play for a long time cuz the voc will be going abroad...

at about 10 pm, my sis and bro who don't like japanese music, begged me to go home, although private joker hasn't finished their performance... well, i can do nothing cuz my mom also asked me to go home...

that finishes the trip... we got home at about 12 pm...

jakarTaaaa...

today i will be going to our capital city, jakarta!!

we are going to see Hello Kitty festival (this is actually my sister's idea... i'll have no choice but to accompany her...) and then the plan is to go to the newest waterboom in jakarta... well, it is actually has been opened since a few months ago, but we haven't been to jakarta since a long time, and at last we get the opportunity now...

and then we will go to a japanese festival the following day!! yay!! can't wait to see it!!

ok then, i'll post what we will be doing on the next post, probably on sunday...

todaY's actiVity... ZzZzZzzzz...

today i woke up at 11 am ^^

it's actually YESTERDAY, yea, on 3rd July...

i am really a sleepyhead... well, yea, i slept at about 1 am the night before that, so i slept for about... 10 hours?!?! whew....

today's activity is mainly... sleep!!! hahahahah... ^^

i'm not joking.. well, i woke up at 11, brushed my teeth and then play for a moment, eat, and then i went to watch Luna Sea's Final Act on about 1 pm. then on about 3 pm i went to sleep again until 5 pm.... heheheheh...



luna sea!!! i am a BIG fan of Sugizo!!!

it's a pity they are disbanded now...

after that i went to JLCC, to continue the japanese language course... today we learned about katakana, and a few rules of how to use them.

and in the late evening i went to Blitzmegaplex in PVJ (the greatest mall in Bandung, ever!! sorry BSM, Ciwalk, IP, and BIP..) with my family to watch a movie called Hancock. it was a GREAT movie...

it was about a super-man named John Hancock, who has the ability to fly, superpower, like superman, only he doesn't have x-ray sight, or the laser eye, etc etc etc... he has forgotten about his past, and he only remembered about 80 years ago (he doesn't age at all)

he helps people but with his reckless way, destroying building, roads, even a train, obviously everything in his path..

that cause him to be hated by people, thus he met a man called Ray, who was saved from death by Hancock. ray tried to change people's opinion about hancock, by changing hancock himself to a better person.

and then he met ray's wife mary, who also has the same abilty as hancock, even stronger (wow!), and his past will be revealed as he met her...

after that, i went to buy one of my fav drinks of all time, the ice caramel latte, with custom milk and custom etc etc etc (i don't order the same one everytime i buy one)

and then i went home...

ok then, the weather today is fine, not as hot as yesterday, probably cuz i stayed at home for most of the time...

yesterday i was sooooooooo idle, don't know what to do...

well, i've could have played indoor soccer or basketball until 10pm, but because i FORGOT to bring some clothes with me, i couldn't play... well, who wanted to play those sports wearing shorts that is too big?? my shorts was too big for me, and i didn't wear any belts... and i don't want to take any risks ^^

so we went home T________T

inCreDibLe HuLk... noT thaT incRediBle, thouGh..

today i watched the Incredible Hulk with my brother at Blitzmegaplex, PVJ...

man, today was very HOT!!! i almost burned to death.... well, it's not THAT hot, but there are some things that made the temperature rose... we went out of our house at about 11 am, and the plan is, that my mother wanted to go to a salon (the place where they take care of your hair... got it?) and then we will go to see the movie.

but then, there was a power shutdown at the part of the city where the salon is. well, it's not a big problem, cuz there are a lot of other salon, but the problem IS that the traffic light became dead as well, and as you can imagine, there were a lot of traffic jams... aaaaaaaaaarrrgggghhh....

first, the weather is HOT!!! and then, this???

oh well, at last we got to the other salon, and we went to PVJ at about 12 pm... we got there at 12.30 pm, lucky, cuz the movie started at 12.45 pm!!

and then we saw the movie, well, just me and my brother though...

it is not a very exciting movie though, Get Smart is a thousand times more interesting than this!!! though i must admit, Hulk is a good movie, but not the better one...

after that, we went to a resto called the Duck King... the food there was veeeeeeeeerrrryyyy gooooood..... not to mention the price... VERY EXPENSIVE!!! well, we seldom eat there... cuz of the price, of course...

in the evening i went to my japanese language course!!! did i ever mention it before?? yep, i am now learning japanese!! nyappy~~

i learn japanese at JLCC, it's an institute of japanese language in my city.

hiragana and katakana... they are very difficult to remember!! aaaargghh.... whew... i just finished learning hiragana, and now am learning katakana...
